Our team is committed to helping you and your patients navigate the complexities of insurance reimbursement:
- Insurance Verification: Upon receipt of a fully completed order and patient specimen, we will verify coverage of your patient’s plan. We will manage this process from beginning to end and take the steps needed for each order. Estimated
- Patient Responsibility: We will estimate your patient’s likely out-of-pocket responsibility at the same time of insurance verification. If the estimated patient responsibility is more than $350, we will attempt to notify you and/or your patient prior to performing the test.
Our team of genetic counselors is available from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST by calling 866.GENE.INFO (866-436-3469) to help medical professionals with genetics related questions, including appropriate test selection and interpretation of results. We also connect patients with external genetic counselors as requested and when required by health plans after testing has been ordered.
