Advanced HLA & Transplant Immunology
DLO's Transplant Immunology Laboratory provides specialized clinical histocompatibility testing and immunologic monitoring to support solid organ transplantation, disease association and drug hypersensitivity testing.
Our laboratory provides pre-transplantation, transplantation and post-transplantation testing for the INTEGRIS Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute, Oklahoma's comprehensive solid organ transplant center. DLO provides human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing for heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation.
When appropriate, DLO's virtual crossmatching capabilities can help identify compatible donor-recipient matches more quickly than traditional crossmatching. A final tissue crossmatch is also performed to validate the initial findings.
When time matters, DLO can provide a four-hour STAT Final Tissue Crossmatch.
